Chapter 1: Introduction to Business Grants
Navigating the world of grants can be quite a skill. I take great pride in my meticulous research methods, and honestly, I enjoy the entire process of discovery. Recently, I’ve identified five business grants that are now open for applications. Below, I’ll explain what they are, how much funding is available, and share insights into my research techniques. Let’s dive in!

Section 1.2: Finding Grants Effectively
When it comes to searching for grants, I often turn to Google. I utilize specific search phrases that help me narrow down my options, focusing on less competitive opportunities. Here are some key terms I recommend:
- Consider your identity (e.g., women-owned, minority-owned, disabled).
- Include your location (country, state, city).
- Investigate grants from local organizations (church, college, employer).
- Search frequently and check the News tab on Google for updates.
Additionally, TikTok has become a hub for grant-seeking information. There are numerous "Grants influencers" sharing valuable insights. I previously ran a TikTok account dedicated to grants and finance, though I haven't posted in a while. The platform has blossomed into a vital resource for discovering grants, such as the recent mom grant (the Pure Leaf grant) that I applied for.
Section 1.3: Types of Grants Beyond Business
It’s important to note that you don’t have to own a business to apply for grants. Many grants cater to various needs beyond business funding. For instance, I secured a $1,500 disability grant for my son last year, and I came across a story of a woman with multiple disabled children who received $200,000 in grants over the years.
Chapter 2: My Grant-Winning Journey
I have successfully won about five to six grants in the past few years, and I would like to share the strategies that helped me uncover these opportunities. I hope these tips prove beneficial for you!
