At the end of April, I decided to embark on a weight loss journey in anticipation of summer. Everyone wants to feel confident on the beach, and I was feeling fatigued even with the most trivial activities.
After consulting with a doctor, I learned I needed to shed around 10 kg to reach my ideal weight. This prompted me to make significant lifestyle adjustments.

Next, I completely stopped consuming alcohol. Not a single beer for an entire month! Many people may not realize it, but alcohol is packed with calories. For instance, a bottle of wine can equate to an hour of treadmill time or around 45 minutes of moderate running.
Moreover, I opted to skip dinner altogether. With lunch at 1 PM and breakfast at 7 AM, I created an 18-hour fasting window, allowing my body to utilize stored energy. I also began tracking my calorie intake using an app. If I exceeded my calorie limit at lunch, I would hit the gym to ensure a daily calorie deficit of at least 500 kcal.
When I weighed myself on the last day of May, I was thrilled to discover I had lost 5 kg, dropping from 82 kg to 77 kg. I feel significantly better, and my goal now is to start hitting the gym regularly in June to continue this weight loss journey while preserving muscle mass.
