According to a spokesperson from Gayfriendly, "The wellness landscape can differ greatly across states. Notable wellness havens like Rhode Island, Oregon, and Massachusetts prioritize healthy eating, mental wellness, and social inclusivity, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling lifestyle."

The lowest quality of life index score belongs to Mississippi, with a score of 16.28, followed by West Virginia, South Dakota, Kentucky, Arkansas, Alabama, Indiana, North Dakota, Tennessee, and Montana.
